Animals, both domestic and wild, are an important part of life at the Triangle L Ranch. Here we will share some of our images and stories of them.

We will also try to bring you images from the "Critter Cam" as they are available.

More images coming soon, so check back!

Here are this year's owl chicks (with their mom?). A family of owls nests in a huge old oak tree near the main house. They seem as interested in us as we are in them.  Owls 2005

Zeke

Zeke!
Where do you begin? Zeke is Sharon and Dave's longtime dog friend. He is a blue-heeler-Australian cattle dog mix. He has loads of personality and loves to play ball.

Sixteen chickens and an African goose live at the Triangle L. The chickens all have names and lay lots of delicious eggs. This is Sheena/Teena/Xena.
“El Noche” is the resident cat. He has lots of personality and lets you know when he is around. However, he is also elusive and hard to capture on film.

The picture below of the baby owls was taken in 2002. The Great Horned Owls raise a family every year in the big tree next to the main ranch house.
